Job Title:Pediatric Anesthesiology – Pain Management

Job Requirements:Candidates must be eligible for certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology in pediatric anesthesiology. Completion of an advanced fellowship in pediatric chronic pain medicine is preferred. JHACH has an ACGME accredited pediatric anesthesia fellowship program designed to train the next generation of leaders in pediatric anesthesia. Our new pediatric anesthesiologist will be encouraged and supported to establish an ACGME accredited advanced pediatric chronic pain fellowship at our expanding clinical/academic campus in Saint Petersburg.
Job Description:The Division of Anesthesia at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida seeks an additional pediatric anesthesiologist with experience in pediatric pain management. You will be joining a group of 21 pediatric anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs. JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital in four pediatric specialties(2022-2023). We are consistently ranked as one of the top Children’s Hospitals in Florida. We are the only US hospital outside the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. location that is part of the Johns Hopkins Medicine system. JHACH is a leading center for the management of neonates with congenital anomalies (diaphragmatic hernias,TEF), scoliosis, congenital heart disease, and heart transplant. JHACH is committed to supporting candidates with an interest in basic science, clinical and/or translational research. Qualified candidates are eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. There is a supportive infrastructure for clinical research with data scientists, epidemiologists, statisticians, and research assistants. Candidates with demonstrated experience will be considered for the Director of Research. Tampa-St. Petersburg is located near many of Florida's amenities, minutes from the beautiful gulf beaches, two hours from Orlando, and four hours from Miami.
