Completion of a Pediatric Anesthesia fellowship with further training or significant experience in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia.Job Description:The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our growing practice at the American Family Childrenâs Hospital. Our cohesive team of 3 cardiac anesthesiologists, 2 surgeons, and cardiologists work closely together to care for patients having 225 surgical cases, 200 cardiac catheterizations, and 100 EP cases/year. We care for patients across the wide spectrum of cardiac acuity, including complex neonates and single ventricle patients, pediatric devices and transplants, adult congenital patients, and complex cardiac patients having non-cardiac surgery. This position is a mix of pediatric cardiac and general pediatric anesthesia. All sub-specialties are represented, acuity ranges from complex tertiary to healthy outpatients. Call responsibilities are only cardiac. We work with anesthesia residents and fellows, and numerous educational/academic opportunities exist.
