Qualified candidates must be board-eligible and/or board-certified in pediatric anesthesiology, have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as the commitment to make important contributions to the field of Anesthesia.Job Description:Opportunity Highlights: - We provide anesthesia for the full range of congenital cardiac pathologies and palliative repairs, and interventions, inclusive of ventricular assist devices and transplantation. Additionally, our service cares for all congenital cardiac patients for non-cardiac procedures and imaging requiring anesthesia. - The pediatric cardiac anesthesia team participates in weekly multidisciplinary conferences within the Heart Center. The team also works closely with a dedicated pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. - There is an established Pediatric Fellowship Training Program and an opportunity to work with anesthesia residents. - There is NO general pediatric case or call requirement unless the candidate desires to do so. - Robust clinical/translational research programs within the Department including opportunities for T-32 and National Clinical Scholar Physicians. - Opportunities for J-1 visa candidates are available.
