The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for pediatric and neonate patients undergoing routine and complex procedures in the UC Davis Childrenâs Hospital operating rooms, cardiology catheterization labs and radiology suites, and participate fully in the after-hours call system. An interest in pediatric cardiac anesthesia will be accommodated with the candidate caring for patients undergoing cardiac procedures during call hours and weekends. Responsibilities will include the education of medical students, residents and fellows, and allied healthcare professionals in all areas of general, ambulatory and regional anesthesiology for pediatric patients in Northern Californiaâs only Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, and Level 1 Childrenâs Surgery Center, as designated by the American College of Surgeons.
