Job Description:The Department of Anesthesia at Cincinnati Children's is seeking an experienced pediatric anesthesiologist at the Clinical Faculty level of Associate or Professor to lead the Division of Chronic Pain Management. The successful candidate will be an employee of Cincinnati Children's with an academic appointment through the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine that aligns with their qualifications and experience. Responsibilities for this role include: - Provide visionary leadership and direction for the Pediatric Chronic Pain Division, overseeing clinical operations, collaborative research and faculty development. - Develop and implement comprehensive pain management strategies for pediatric patients, including multimodal analgesia, interventional pain procedures, and non-pharmacological approaches. - Drive clinical innovation and quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. - Engage in outreach and advocacy efforts to raise awareness of pediatric chronic pain and promote best practices in pain management.
