Job Requirements:Candidate must hold a M.D., M.D./Ph.D. degree(s), or equivalent. Candidate must be board eligible or board certified in general anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology with American Board of Anesthesiology. Candidate must be eligible for California licensure or licensed to practice in the state of California.

Clinical practice includes general and pediatric anesthesia, ambulatory anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, regional anesthesia and perioperative pain management.

Health Sciences (HS) Clinical Professor series faculty engage in scholarly or creative activities which derive from and support their primary responsibilities in clinical teaching and professional and service activities. Responsibilities include education of the medical students, residents and didactics.
Job Description:The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care at the University of California, Irvine has openings in HS Clinical Professor Series. Faculty rank and compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. UCI offers an excellent salary, incentive, and benefit. Salary ranges $470,000-$510,000 plus $35,000 subspecialty stipend. Faculty will provide care at UCI Medical Center (UCIMC) in Orange and Irvine, CA. The faculty will have on average a 40-hour work week clinical commitment including call responsibilities. Re-location expenses up to $15,000 will be reimbursed.
