- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school
- Current state medical license and in good standing with medical board
- American Heart Association BLS - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment

- Exceptional clinical, research and teaching skills and have a commitment to academic pediatrics.
- Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families and co-workers.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and react calmly under stressful conditions.
- Ability to problem solve to formulate a plan of care and evaluate the patient's response to care.

Job Description:Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a 307-bed freestanding children's hospital and ACS-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center, and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the physician multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children's Health System, have exceptional opportunities for BC/BE fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologists.

Pediatric anesthesiologists at Nicklaus Children’s provide care for a full range of cases from neonates to young adults. There is a wide case mix, including those of the highest complexity, in fields of pediatric surgery, orthopedics, urology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, craniofacial surgery, ENT, cardiac and other surgical specialties. Providers practice on the main campus in addition to an ambulatory surgery center. Teaching residents and fellows is encouraged. Individuals with all levels of experience and subspecialty interests and/or training are encouraged to apply.
