Job Description:The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking pediatric anesthesiologists for full-time assistant/associate/professor rank to practice and teach at Benioff Childrens Hospital at Oakland, California.

UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospital is ranked among the nation's best children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Report every year. Together UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospitals, San Francisco and Oakland campuses have created Northern California's largest network of pediatric providers dedicated solely to taking care of children. Our pediatric anesthesiologists work closely with pediatric medicine and surgical specialists in a collegial environment that fosters collaboration. The division of pediatric anesthesiology at Oakland provides over 8,000 anesthetics per year and help run Bay Areas only Level 1 pediatric trauma center. UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospital Oakland is a major referral center with pediatric ICU, neonatal ICU, pediatric ECMO, cardiac and pain programs.

Protected academic time is offered to pursue clinical, quality, educational and research interests with supporting infrastructure.
