Job Description:The section of pediatric cardiac anesthesia at the Oklahoma Childrenâs Hospital is inviting you to become an integral part of the only congenital heart disease surgical program in the state. Our pediatric cardiac anesthesia team provides perioperative care for more than 500 surgical cases annually, including VAD and transplant. We staff all cardiac catheterization and EP, and consult on all patients with heart disease requiring non-cardiac procedures. Our care team is comprised of three anesthesiologists and CRNAs. The Pediatric Heart Center at Oklahoma Childrenâs Hospital provides quaternary care to infants, children, and adults with congenital heart disease and was named as one of the top 50 childrenâs hospitals in the United States for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery. We have over 150 clinicians dedicated to the care of patients of all ages with congenital heart disease and anticipate significant and continued growth beyond our dedicated 24-bed cardiac critical care unit, state-of-the-art hybrid suite and two cardiac ORs. In May, 2025, the State legislature voted to fund a free-standing, pediatric heart hospital adjacent to our existing edifice.
