We are seeking a cardiac team member to help provide anesthesia care for children undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, cath lab procedures (diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiologic), non-invasive cardiac imaging, and anesthesia care for children with cardiac disease undergoing non-cardiac procedures. Approximately 700-750 cardiac surgical cases (500-550 on CPB) and 1,200 cardiac catheterizations are performed each year at Children's. Our program trains up to two pediatric cardiac anesthesiology fellows and four pediatric anesthesiology fellows each year. This position is eligible for a clinical track or academic track position. If the candidate desires the academic track, The appointment is within the Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology with a dual appointment in Pediatrics.
