Job Requirements:	Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida is a 259-bed teaching hospital ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Childrens Hospital in 6 pediatric specialties (2024-2025). We also ranked as the #1 Childrens Hospital in Florida. JHACH is in the process of adding 4 additional ORs and we seek candidates for the following positions: general pediatric anesthesiology, pediatric cardiac anesthesiology (fellowship trained), and pain medicine anesthesiology (advanced fellowship in pediatric chronic pain medicine is preferred). Candidates must be eligible for certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology in pediatric anesthesiology.
Job Description:	The Department of Anesthesia at JHACH is recruiting several additional pediatric anesthesiologists to join our expanding team of 22 pediatric anesthesiologists and 20 CRNAs. We are the only US hospital outside the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. location that is part of the Johns Hopkins Medicine system. JHACH is a leading center in the world for managing neonates with CDH, EAT, scoliosis, congenital heart disease, and heart transplant. We are the world's largest CDH program, with about 70 cases per year. The Johns Hopkins All Childrens Heart Institute continues to grow, and the surgical volume is increasing as well. JHACH has an ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesia fellowship program, training the next generation of leaders in pediatric anesthesia. Our institution is very committed to supporting candidates with an interest in basic science, clinical and/or translational research. Qualified candidates are eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (academic rank is open and commensurate with experience). There is a supportive infrastructure for clinical research with data scientists, epidemiologists, statisticians, and research assistants. Tampa-St. Petersburg is centrally located to many of Florida's amenities, minutes from the beautiful Gulf beaches, two hours from Orlando, and four hours from Miami.
