This premier academic division provides over 3,100 anesthetics annually for children with congenital and acquired heart disease across the cardiac ORs, catheterization labs, and non-OR sites, supported by 17 attending anesthesiologists, 7 cardiac CRNAs, 1 advanced fellow, and 1 nurse practitioner. The Chief will oversee the Division's clinical, research, and educational missions, working closely with departmental and institutional leaders to optimize operations, advance research, and foster professional growth. The Chief will serve as a key leader within the Cardiac Center at CHOP, collaborating with cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and intensivists to provide world-class and cutting-edge care to children with congenital and acquired heart disease.
