Greetings friends! Are you looking for better ways to treat intraoperative pediatric crises? The SPA PediCrisis checklists, from air embolus to trauma, are now updated and ready for use! Building on ongoing work since 2007 by more than 70 SPA members from around the world, and with human factors design incorporated, the 26 updated checklists, based on the latest evidence from the literature, are now live! A checklist for bronchospasm is new with the spring edition.
An all-new translation into Turkish is now posted on the website, along with Spanish, French, Portuguese and Chinese translations from US and international collaborators. An ‘implementation guide’ provides guidance for optimizing the integration of the checklists into your institution’s electronic desktop. Also in development and coming soon are a training guide and simulation scenarios to facilitate the implementation of the checklists.
